Murialdo’s Family
The Social Office is characterized by a multiplicity of work on the territory, focused on the implementation of projects and programs that focus on the protection of children's rights, the social integration of vulnerable communities, irregular immigration and the economic strengthening of families .
The Murialdo Social Center (QSM), with the Social Office, collaborates on a network, with various NGOs operating in Fier and in the Albanian territory, and in close collaboration with public institutions.
Social work includes assistance to families in difficulty, career guidance, integration of minorities (especially the Roma community), projects and their management, as a support and impetus for entrepreneurial initiatives.
The social office provides and coordinates services through Multidisciplinary Community Centers in the territorial district of the Municipality of Fier, implementing programs centered on the family and its needs.

Integration project
- Sustainable social and economic reintegration of migrants repatriated to Albania” (December 2020 - January 2023). Funded by GIZ (German Cooperation) and developed by Terres des Hommes. - Emergency "Emergency support and recovery for vulnerable children in street situations and families affected by the COVID-19 pandemic situation in Albania" (February 2021 - ongoing). Funded by the EU and developed by Terres des Hommes. The project aims to strengthen various services for the protection of street children in the Fier area.
- IRMA-Improving; improve access and (re) integration in educational, employment and social services of children, young people and migrant families repatriated to Albania (April 2019-October 2020). Funded by GIZ (German Cooperation) and developed by Terres des Hommes. Growth of Roma skills. Education of children. Parental support. Youth emancipation. Case management. Inbound generation activity.
- Plots: rights, skills and plots for the Roma women of Drize. In progress (January 2020-March 2021). Funded by the Norwegian Embassy and developed by Partners Albania. Female emancipation. Textile courses. Stimulation of economic activity.
- IntegraBUS: we bring integration on board! (2019-2020). Funded by the European Union Funded by ANTTARCU. Integration and growth of the capacities of Roma children through sport, artistic activities. Youth awareness.
- School, Art and Entertainment: for the social inclusion of Roma children in Fier. (2016-2017) Funded by the European Union with funding from Save the Children. School integration and capacity building of Roma children.
- Economic enhancement projects such as “Learn to Undertake” (MTN) or IGA (Incoming Generation Activities).
Young projects
- Step by Step: Step by step towards youth engagement (November 2018 - July 2019) Funded by GIZ (German Cooperation).
- ProSeed: Project to improve social inclusion and active participation of marginalized young people, and those returning from migration.
- Youth creative: young people who invent the future. (2016-2018) (Partner). Funded by the IADSA program and the Albanian Ministry of Economy. Education, artistic activities (musical, theatrical, etc.).
Other activities
Collaboration with the Office for probation, and the educational presence in the IEVP (Lushnje, Durres, Fier).
Experimental activity for the recovery of people under house arrest, proposing a choice and social rehabilitation through the following activities:

Ks - Reintegration into QSM cultural and sporting activities;
Al - Literacy courses.
