SPREADING SOCIAL ENTERPRISE
The project and its main objectives
The project "Spreading Social Enterprise: training, work and inclusion" is carried out in the Albanian territory, mainly in Fier, together with the partners: ENGIM (Ente Nazionale Giuseppini del Murialdo), Murialdo Social Center (QSM), HELP - Hilfe zur selbsthilfe and LIBERA.
The main objective of the project is to support the sustainable and inclusive development of the Albanian economy, promoting social enterprise and the social use of confiscated assets. Specifically, it seeks to strengthen new models of social entrepreneurship and leadership competencies of local CSOs that guarantee the socio-economic inclusion of disadvantaged groups such as disadvantaged women, NEETs, victims (and potential victims) of organized crime (for example women released from prison). In particular, the project envisages the creation and strengthening of three Social Formation Enterprises, which are the Ke Buono pastry shop, the Incubator of agro-food products built as part of the Rise-Alb project and the Mechanical office at Murialdo Social Center in Fier. The three forming enterprises will be based on the Italian ENGIM model that combines education and vocational training with the social inclusion of vulnerable groups, thus giving the enterprise an added value. This model will be presented and discussed together with the Albanian civil society organizations and will be distributed at the national level through the creation of internet platforms to include different groups. The proposed intervention will also address other priorities including organizational and managerial development of civil society organizations through specific training sections. Moreover, thanks to the sub-grant component, the project will support a new social enterprise.
EVENTS (activities)
The main activities of the project are:
• Systematization of a new model of professional social enterprise;
• Realization of four round tables with local CSOs for the improvement of the social forming enterprise model;
• Strengthening the educational and professional capacities of three Professional Social Enterprises;
• Dissemination of the model at the national level through the creation of media platforms for the inclusion of different groups and the stimulation of the use of social media;
• Four technical-institutional tables for the advocacy of public institutions for the integration of the model of Professional Social Enterprises in the current legislation.
• Formation/Training for financial management and accounting of NS with local and international experts;
• Two study visits in the field of social enterprise and social reuse of confiscated assets in EU countries;
• Defining and initiating a grant notification;
• Eight days of information and training
• Evaluation of submitted proposals, assignment of sub-grant and monitoring of civil society organizations that have benefited from the sub-grant.
